So many times I looked for a sign for you to show me the way
I needed you and you turned your back on me
and I didn’t know what to say

Everybody else seems to talk about the time
when you helped when a need was there
When I ask for help you left me all alone you act like you don’t even care
At my lowest point you left me high and dry,
now its time for me to leave
you made me question my beliefs

Then I realized my miscalculation,
signs don’t come falling from the sky
God’s plan reveals itself in many different ways,
sometimes its right before our eyes

I looked back and saw the ways that God worked in my life
saw the little things that point me in the right
Don’t need a burning bush or need a blinding light,
just a little wisdom to see
