Love your neighbor as yourself
Love your neighbor just like anybody else
love your neighbor says God's son
Yes, you're neighbor's everyone
A man walked down a dangerous and dusty road
A. Band of thieves took all he had even his clothes.
They beat him with sticks and left him there to die
He thought he would be rescued when a priest came walking by.
The priest rode by and hurried on his way
There was important business to be attended to that day
He didn't stop to help or see if the man was dead
He covered up his eyes and rode right by instead
Then a leevite came along he saw the injured man
He didn't slow his pace because it wasn't in his plan
His temple work was calling, he Just hurried by
He didn't help his neighbor, he didn't even try
An unexpected man, next came upon this scene
He was from Samaria, a long time enemy
He could have walked right by and left the man alone
Instead . He jumped off his horse and called
911 on the first telephone. ( dad they didn't have telephones in the bible)
He took the man to town, to get the help he'd need.
Paid for his care, it was like he was family
what are we to do when we're faced with our enemies
Its Just like Jesus said
